Gearbox: keyboard pliegues-Chicago Tribune

Name: Verbatim Mobile Bluetooth Keyboard

What is: a wireless keyboard of fold in half of Apple iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad using Apple operating system iOS4. The robust design of thin plastic comes with keys in full size and features clever, like a column of buttons that play, pause and skip through songs and videos; volume control; and returning the device to your home screen. Two batteries AAA of feeding the keyboard Bluetooth radio, allowing to easily connect to your device from Apple.

The good news: the keyboard has a stable, reassuring feel and stretchy keys which can apparently deal with lots of use in tables or in your lap. The intelligent sliding hanger for your iPhone/iPod Touch has a lip that lies on the keyboard, providing a non-slip location for the device while writing on any stable horizontal surface (the hanger is too small for an iPad). The transport suitcase including keeps the dust free keyboard when not in use. Batteries are included. If it puts your iPhone/iPod Touch horizontally while writing, you can connect the device loader while you work. Verbatim cleverly designed the switch that blocks keyboard usable position so that they can not be moved accidentally. Ditto the power switch.

The bad: the price is pronounced by not much typing on your iPhone or iPod Touch, and will need a stand for your iPad if you use this device. There is no way to move from the home screen to other screens, so you will find little use to the keyboard more than write notes long and emails (although it is superior to writing lengthy missives for thumb).

Cost: $79,99 (as low as $54 in line)
